CLAMP to draw for new “Haken Anime!” spinoff novel series

I wasn’t expecting that at all, I wasn’t thinking about Haken Anime right now to be totally honest, neither before ^^;; But more specifically today, my mind has been full of the new Sakura Together Forever Pinky Promise nendoroid, that was so suddenly announced yesterday out of nowhere hahaha

But I was expecting and looking forward this issue of Anan since last wednesay, when they announced that CLAMP would have featured in an article in this issue, and I see that they had something specific to announce after all, and that it wasn’t just an article about their trajectory as mangakas these past 30 years.

I’ve looked into it since last week on Amazon Japan but the magazine was never available for neither preorder before the release date, nor direct order now that it’s officially out…
I will still check it out the next few days, but I won’t be holding my breath either… these past 7-8 months have probably been by far the most problematic since I started using Amazon Japan almost 15 years ago, due to more and more items not being shipped overseas, and I’m talking only about books and magazines here, meaning the kind of things with no restrictions and no reasons whatsoever not to be shipped 😦

The announcement came in this week’s issue of anan magazine, which also contains a 4-pages recap of CLAMP’s creative trajectory with highlights by Mizuki Tsujimura.

The original Haken Anime! novel was serialized in anan magazine from 2012 to 2014, each chapter featuring a colored illustration drawn by CLAMP. The chapters were compiled and released in book format in 2014. A paperback edition was later released in 2017. In 2019…
